About Lazers Soccer Club
Lazers Soccer Club offers a wide variety of soccer programs to more than 3300 youth and adult registrants annually.
Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association (Lazers – Peachtree City)
PTCYSA was started at Drake Field and then Picnic Park in the 1970s.
In 1980, the original Glenloch Park was built for PTCYSA soccer. In 1984, a city land swap with the Wortmann family added the 3 additional fields at Glenloch still used by PTCYSA today. Also, during this decade, the City of Peachtree City built Meade Fields (FKA South 74) for PTCYSA.
In the early 90s, the Peachtree City Athletic Complex (FKA Baseball Soccer Complex) was built for additional Soccer and Baseball Fields for PTCYSA.
In April 2009, PTC Lazers and AFC Lightning merged their individual select programs into one large travel program.
Tyrone Soccer League (Lazers - Tyrone)
TSL was created in 2006 and played out of Shamrock Park.
Within a couple of years, Handley Park was build and has been the home to Tyrone Soccer ever since.
In spring 2019, TSL became Tyrone Lazers and the program has doubled in size during this period.
