Lazers Soccer Club Peachtree City

History

Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association dates as far back as the mid 1970s. The first fields used were Picnic Park, two small fields at Glenloch, and Drake Field.  Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association was incorporated in 1985.

Meade Complex opened in the late 1980’s. In the summer of 1993, a bond referendum passed to build the Baseball Soccer Complex.  After two years of construction, PTCYSA started to use Peachtree City Athletic Complex (PAC) in 1995. 

Peachtree City Lazers Select program started play in 1995-1996.

In the summer of 2009, Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association merged select programs with FCYSL under the name AFC Lightning.  

In the spring of 2011, Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association added the Peachtree City Lazers 7v7 Adult Soccer League.

In the spring of 2016, Lazers added TOPSoccer.

In the spring of 2019, Tyrone Soccer Branch was added to the club's umbrella.

PTCYSA currently contains Lazers Recreation, TOPSoccer, AFC Lightning Select/Travel, and the T&G Allsports 7v7 Adult League.
